The Mandala Blessings project began in response to the notorious and plentiful fires in Northern California
throughout 2015, which were deemed the most destructive fires in recent history. In Lake County over
100,000 acres were burned in mere weeks. Some survivors have been further traumatized by the 2016 fires which followed.
The first project of The Mandala Blessings project was The Living Prayer, Ancha's own brainchild and personal donation,
worked with the International Charter School in Middletown, CA. Eighty K-12 students participated.
Through their handprints they created "A Living Prayer" with each student ceremonially sending their blessings
to their families and friends who had lost their homes in the fires.

The Spirit Lake Hermitage project was Ancha's childhood dream made manifest,
in creating a hermitage for people of all ages to retreat from world as the only way out, is IN.
